Renovate Your Rental Floor - The Best Temporary DIY makeover

A Quadrostyle & Eastandlane.com Collaboration

Have you moved into a rental but not in love with your new floor? We have a super solution for you! Outdated rental flooring is a common issue among those that don't own their own home, but you no longer have to put up with it any longer. Whether its a tiled bathroom that looks dirty no matter how many times you clean it or a cracked linoleum kitchen that has seen better days, now you can cleverly cover them up with durable peel & stick vinyl decals.

Like many, Keyanna is renting but she wanted to make her home feel like her own. Trouble was the linoleum floor was tired and outdated. She discovered Quadrostyle Vinyl Stickers and knew it was the perfect solution for her rental floor.

Stick on Vinyl Floor Decals

Sold in tile squares or panels these thin but tough vinyl decals are opaque and will cover whatever lies beneath. Just like wallpaper they join up to create a seamless pattern. They are suitable to cover many common floor surfaces: Ceramic Tiles, Linoleum, Vinyl Laminate, Parquet even Concrete. The one thing that sets these stickers apart from other DIY floor makeovers is that these are removable. YES, the decals can be peeled off when you move out and they won't damage the existing floor.

Easy to remove

The adhesive backing is very sticky and repositionable. This means you can stick them down but remove & re-position them if you haven't got them perfectly aligned. Once down they'll stay put until you no longer want them. If at first they don't peel off easily, warm the surface for a few seconds with a hair dryer - this makes the adhesive soften. And once they're off there's no residue or damage the original floor. Perfect if you're renting.

Durable

While no thicker than 1 mm you may think that these are not ideal for high traffic areas. However if applied correctly they can give you up to 2 years wear, often longer with a little extra care. There is no need to trim doors or raise your appliances higher, by being thin these decals slip right under for a hassle free installation. Tip: Trim the edges right up to your wall or skirting to ensure the edges are protected. Add a trim over any edges that are raw to avoid the decal tearing later. In the event that one gets torn you can order replacements - peel off the old one & replace with a new one. Simple yeah!

Easy to care for

As easy to clean as a vinyl floor, vacuum the surface then mop your floor using a non-abrasive floor cleaner. We love the matte finish of these peel & stick decals because spills don't stain. These are water resistant so liquids like red wine & coffee just wipe up without a trace.

Resistant

These are resistant to water & heat so you can install peel & stick floor stickers in a bathroom or a kitchen. Not limited to just the floor you can use them on the wall too, behind a sink or stove as a back splash. But as with all vinyl products these are not heat proof, so if the surface gets hot to the touch, stickers will melt or peel off.

Easy to install

Because there are no expensive tools or extra products to buy, peel & stick floor decals are quite easy to install. You'll need a cutter, a plastic ruler & a pair of scissors. We recommend working in a team of two, one person positions the sticker and smooths it down while the other person simultaneously removes the backing.

affordable

While perhaps not everyone has such a large eat in kitchen as Keyanna, you can still affordably cover your kitchen or bathroom floor without spending a fortune. One Quadrostyle floor panel measures 24" x 48" and covers 8 sq.ft, ( 60 cm x 120 cm and 0.72m2 )

Each panel costs $69.95, so you can transform a 56 sq.ft floor for under $500.00
